Wet Entryway in Downtown Las Vegas Home

This Las Vegas home had a roof leak that allowed water to run through. In the before picture you can tell the wet areas especially along the seams. Water from the roof runs through a lot of building materials and insulation making it necessary to remove the wet drywall. The worry is that bacteria and grime from the roof may have traveled with the water and into the porous drywall. Removing the drywall helps keep the homeowner healthy. The after picture shows how the demolition of the wet drywall was taken care of before air movers were placed to dry the rest of the building materials.
